Due to the early deadline (8:30am on July 1, 2003) for receiving orders for Commodiy TRAKRS, as noted below, the Clearing House also accept orders for Commodity TRAKRS on the prior afternoon, Monday, June 30 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. (All times are Chicago time)

On Tuesday July 1, 2003, CME will launch trading in Commodity TRAKRS futures contracts with a Special Opening Procedure. Regular GLOBEX trading of these new products will commence Wednesday, July 2, 2003.

The details of the Special Opening Procedure were published on May 23, 2003 as part of Special Executive Report S-3940. We are issuing this advisory to highlight these special procedures.
